ANGROVE CAMP RESIDENTIAL PACKAGES 2012
Zenith Leisure will again be opening an adventure camp in May 2012. Angrove Camp is situated in one of the most idyllic settings in Cleveland and offers easy access to many of the local rivers, cycle routes, walkways, and the coast. It is therefore the ideal location as a residential base for adventurous activities.
Through experiential learning outdoor education enhances teamwork, leadership and confidence. The Park is ideal for all age groups and with views of Roseberry Topping and Captain Cooks Monument our younger children will not feel so far from home.
Residential Packages: Having reviewed customer feedback from 2011 we are offering an online booking system that allows you to design your own residential package, suiting your group's needs and budget. All packages include on and off site activities, food and accommodation. Activity locations can be local or from a variety of areas across the North East. But whether on-site, local or non-local, all activities will be delivered to the highest of standards. 2 and 3 day residential packages are available as well as woodland adventure activity days and each package is bespoke to the school to ensure no two weeks are alike.

Activities: We can now also offer Coasteering along with other activities such as Canoeing, Climbing, Abseiling, Mountain Biking, Gorge Walking, Bushcraft and many more. The children will not only be challenged but the emphasis will also be on fun. Zenith Leisure prides itself in using modern and well maintained equipment for every activity.

Prices: The residential packages can cater for groups of varying sizes so contact us for an accurate quotation. The prices in the above table are based on 24 children attending. All groups qualify for 1 free staff member for every 10 participants.
Instructors: All Zenith Leisure Instructors are National Governing Body (NGB) Award qualified in their relevant activity discipline. All staff members are CRB checked, First Aid Trained and have completed an induction and assessment period within the company. They are highly professional and passionate about the outdoors and Outdoor Education.
Accommodation: Angrove Camp is made up from a selection of camping cabins (Angrove Cabins), a centralised briefing and eating room, a camp fire area and toilet and shower facilities. Angrove cabins comfortably sleep 3 – 4 people. The centralised eating and briefing area will also be used as a night time activity area. A camp fire site is also available on request. Camp beds are now provided for a more comfortable nights sleep and a more robust centralised area will also be available for eating and briefing.
Location: Angrove Camp is located on the A173 between Great Ayton and Stokesley. The best direction of approach is from Great Ayton due to the road junction on the A173.
Transport: Schools are to arrange their own transport to and from Angrove Camp on the first and last day of the residential package. Zenith Leisure will supply transport during the stay.
Summary: Angrove Camp is an ideal setting to challenge EYFS to KS4 students, with the quality of the staff and their ability to work well with all age ranges it is a great opportunity to reduce the costs of expensive travel and use the local area whilst challenging the children and young people.
